Migraine Therapy with Lenses

Relief from Light-Triggered Migraines

For many people who suffer from migraines, bright light or certain colors of light can be powerful triggers. Up to 60% of migraine attacks are triggered by light. Our migraine therapy lenses are specially designed to reduce these light sensitivities and help minimize the frequency and intensity of migraine attacks.

How the Lenses Work

Avulux® lenses are the first and only FDA-cleared optical lenses for migraine and light sensitivity management. They use advanced, multi-band optical filter technology to precisely absorb specific wavelengths of light that are known to trigger or worsen migraine symptoms—particularly blue, amber, and red light—while allowing soothing green light to pass through.

This balanced filtering helps reduce the activation of light-sensitive pathways in the brain, supporting more comfortable vision and lessening migraine-related discomfort. Avulux lenses are designed for daily wear and can be used with or without a prescription, indoors or outdoors, to provide consistent relief from light-triggered migraines.
